Today we went to Congaree national park.
We saw lots of trees very important for people who lived there in the past. The native americans used the nuts of the american bleech trees to make bread.
Some trees were important for men because they are resistant water and insect resistant. So these trees were used to build houses.
We saw one of the largest tree of the Congaree national park. We need 6 children to surround this large tree !
This park has a big swamp.
Bald cypress trees are extraordinary because their knees come out of the soil, but we don't know why !
